One of the most critical components of project design is selecting the right foundation. Steel piles offer strength and stability for a variety of projects, with many common pile types available. It’s important to consider the surrounding environment, weather, soil conditions, groundwater table and structural load capacity requirement before selecting a pile type. Our team has deep experience working with structural piling—including helical piles, driven piles, H-piles and more. We’ve completed pile work for buildings, bridges and more.
Lift Station No. 15
When the city of Duluth, Minnesota was installing a new sump tank and lift station, they trusted Northland to provide temporary sheet piling to construct a cofferdam that enabled the installation of the new infrastructure. We constructed a sheet pile wall that kept soil and debris away from the construction zone, and drove H-piles to set the foundation for the new lift station.
Structural Concrete Services
We offer driven pipe piles and H-piles for exceptional structural support for a variety of projects.
Permanent Sheet Piling
Permanent sheet pile walls offer a long, reliable service life for building and road construction projects.
Temporary Sheet Piling
When a project calls for quick and stable soil retention, we often leverage temporary steel sheet piles.
