OVERVIEW
Bridge maintenance is essential to public safety. Northland has been working with the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to address bridges over the Stewart River on Highway 61. This complex bridge project was a great representation of what the Northland team brings to the table. The project scope involved constructing two new bridges and renovating an existing historic bridge.
Our teams constructed bypasses and ensured the safety of local drivers on this busy stretch of scenic roadway. We also took measures to guarantee that local rivers were protected and habitat was improved. Northland has decades of experience working around our pristine natural resources, and this project was a great representation of how important Northland's services are to improving the infrastructure of our area.
